For many many years now, I’ve been producing custom art on sticker designs. They are influenced by my surroundings both near and far, as well as by events, friends, and slices of culture that grab my attention. My inspiration might come from down the street, across the country, or beyond oceans on the other side of the world. I find great joy in noting the color pallets and elements of design in things like warning placards, directions, logos and advertisements, even mundane shapes and familiar symbols that are frequently encountered and ignored by most.
Reworking these designs to incorporate the Blotto brand, linking back to photography, art, travel (or all three) is a fun and engaging challenge for me. The project has grown to the point of offering ‘sticker drops’ a few times per year: releasing collections of my current sticker designs in limited quantities, first come first served and available to whoever hits me up. The sticker drops have been wildly popular with friends and followers all over the globe, usually selling out within a couple of days. And those who know, will know: sometimes the envelope carrying a sticker pack through the mail gets is its own piece of Blotto art. So stay tuned, more drops coming up!
